Will Mother Nature turn down the fan already! It’s been windy windy for many of the days leading to cancelled or rescheduled trips, and even the “flat calm” days have turned sporty but in some cases worth it. The red hot Buzzards Bay bite has slowed significantly and has been replaced with the reward of

Welcome back Striped Bass! We’ve been waiting for so long! The good news is the schoolies came in early, and we were catching good numbers of 22-27″ fish on both light tackle and fly as early as April 20th. The bad news is the cold and wind since then has really stalled out the larger
There’s only one word that comes to mind for this year’s albie fishing, and that is phenomenal. Why put in words what a video will sum up perfectly! Music credit: Home Alone by Ansel Elgort (warning, some explicit language) After a fishing guide event on the cape we got some of the vendors out along

This week was a mixed bag of fishing with everything from schoolies to the highlight of one of the trips with a 46″ Striped bass weighing in at 35lbs. What we did find was the early morning bite started to fizzle out and many of the fish we’ve caught have come later in the day
I’ve been a little neglectful on the fishing reports of late and for that I apologize. It’s been a busy couple months as the season gets into full swing. This week we got out only once with a family and young kids (2-4) for a mid day trip. The son has been having a blast
Boston Harbor has been great this past week. The early morning and late evening bites have been sustaining for several hours each and not even the tankers have been able to stop them. The other good news is the pogies are in all over the place, meaning the biggest stripers of the year will be
