Most trips this week were cancelled due to either rain or high winds, but we were able to get out once. The weather started out nice and calm early in the morning but by 8am the wind was building again and by noon we were returning in 4-6′ seas. No problem though, we found fish in the end and had plenty of double hookups throughout the morning with some smaller fish on both the fly and even on topwater!
Due to the rainy conditions most of the day we didn’t take too many pics but out of the 4 people on the boat each was on fish throughout the trip.
Flats Wade Report
Guide Colin has been out scouting the Cape Cod flats looking for life and has been pleasantly surprised throughout the days. While changing flies after a couple of small fish, a huge blitz surfaces around him with 30″ fish that he had to himself for over 30 mins. After 20+ fish on the fly the blitz slowed down and he moved on to some other flats areas where he came into a bunch of schoolies for hours. The flats are definitely warming up and attracting plenty of fish, so get in contact and let’s setup some trips!
